Tucked away in the Byron Bay hinterland, Summerland House Farm is a uniquely clever concept. This working macadamia and avocado farm was set up by House with No Steps founder Lionel Watts to provide employment opportunities to disabled people.

The farm has since expanded to include function and conferencing facilities for up to 90 people indoors and 30 people outdoors, as well as a working café restaurant, gift shop, nursery, museum, children’s waterpark, playground and mini-golf course.

With extremely reasonable prices and plenty of parking space, Summerland House Farm offers planner the opportunity to support people living with disabilities, educate groups about a working tropical farm and serve them fresh regional produce.
