Fun idea: Seven wacky coffee break menus

The Mira Hong Kong has launched a range of quirky menus to take the boredom out of boardrooms.

The fun new menus are as follows:

Michelin Recommended Yum Cha Bites – Cuisine with a nostalgic nod towards the old Canton traditions such as Ha Gao, or Cold Crystal Pork Meat and Cucumber with homemade X.O Sauce.

Chic Sensation – Fancy Japanese rolls and black caviar cones and desserts hanging from trees such as Stimulating Citrus Calamansi Curd in Crispy Baskets or Refreshing Pop Marshmallows (pictured below).

Fashion Plate – Fashion Plate break is all about couturier details of handcrafted desserts and savouries. Taste the Leather Jacket – Peking duck wrapped in delicate pancake – or fizzy, spicy epaulette pepper lollipops (pictured below).

COCO Creation – Afternoon tea is as much of a royal institution in Hong Kong as it is in London. At The Mira, it gets a stylish and playful makeover with COCO’s signature designer cupcakes, pastries, a chocolate fountain and savoury canapés on home-baked colourful breads (pictured below).

Urban Hong Kong – Traditional Hong Kong snacks including Curry Fish Balls on a Bamboo Stick, Hong Kong Egg Waffles, Macau Egg Tarts and Mango Pudding. For safety reasons the stinky tofu was left out.

Feel Electric – Bring some fresh air to your event with Arancini with Electric Tempura Enoki and Fizzy Yuzu-vodka Tart, along with nergising drinks sipped out of ‘light bulbs’.

Out and Uplifted – Kick back on comfy rattan pods and dive into Poached Lobster and Salmon with Lily Bulb and Bird’s Nest to calm your senses, or vegetarian Haloumi Cheese on Bruschetta with Homemade Date Chutney.
