430 bloggers will converge on QT at the Gold Coast for Darren Rowse’s annual ProBlogger training event.

This is the first time the event has taken place outside of Melbourne and will be the largest conference to date. The event has grown by roughly 100 people each year from its inception in 2010.

Darren Rowse to visit the Gold Coast next month

ProBlogger founder Darren Rowse said, “Attendees of this year’s event are some of Australia’s most influential bloggers and social media users. Together their combined reach exceeds over 15 million followers so we look forward to there being quite a bit of buzz about what our bloggers experience over their two days on the Gold Coast.”

The event is being held 13 – 14 September at QT Gold Coast with a poolside cocktail function at Hilton Surfers Paradise on the Saturday night.

Keynote speakers include Australian musician Clare Bowditch and bloggers Trey Ratcliff (stuckincustoms.com), Tsh Oxenreider (simplemom.net) and Caz and Craig Makepeace (ytravelblog.com). Event founder Darren Rowse is considered a leading social media expert, with an audience of more than five million from across the globe for his blogs problogger.net and digital-photography-school.com.

Around 65 niche market bloggers will participate in pre and post event familiarisations organised by Tourism and Events Queensland.
