Channel Nine hosts an Aussie Bake Off at Werribee Park

Viewers tuning into Channel Nine’s new show, The Great Australian Bake Off last week would have seen one of Victoria’s most recognised special events venues, Werribee Park and its iconic Werribee Mansion.

The Park, an ideal setting for any event amongst plush surroundings and manicured gardens has the ability to cater up to 15,000 patrons.

Stretching across 10 hectares, the property incorporates illustrious gardens including the Victoria State Rose Garden and Werribee Heritage Orchard as well as the renowned Victorian era, Werribee Mansion.

Only thirty minutes from Melbourne, the property is idyllic for major outdoor events, corporate events and weddings – Werribee Park is already home to a wide variety of events including Harvest Festival, Legends of the Lawn and So Fenchy So Chic, and hosts the region’s major New Years, Easter and Christmas celebrations.

The park has also hosted the likes of Sir Richard Branson, Sir Elton John, Anthony Warlow and Dame Kiri te Kanawa.

The site has benefitted from recent traffic and event planning updates to assist attendees and promoters alike to enjoy the full value of the precinct.
There are many opportunities to produce large scale events within the historic precinct and formal gardens at Werribee Park, while smaller events can be hosted on the mansion balcony, in the ballroom, among farmyard buildings or at many of the private locations around the grounds.
