Janus Group launches new Sydney venue

Last week 300 media, VIP clients, socialites and special guest MC, Jecinta Campbell, celebrated the official launch of the JANUS Group's new venue in Sydney's Kings Cross.


Last week (May 15th) 300 media, VIP clients, socialites and special guest MC, Jecinta Campbell, celebrated the official launch of the JANUS Group’s new venue in Sydney’s Kings Cross.


Guests arrived via red carpet where they were greeted by the traditional JANUS ice sculpture.

Owner George Michael and Brazilian/French chef, Marcello Guzzo made sure every last detail was perfected and JANUS was launched in true Italian style.

The stage was set as guests arrived down the red carpet to the media wall to the live sounds of a Brazilian band, where they were greeted by the traditional JANUS ice sculpture and bunches of long stemmed red roses into the event to enjoy the delicious house made Brazilian/Italian inspired cocktails and food offering.


300 guests attended the event hosted by Jecinta Campbell.

Guest MC Jecinta Campbell and owners George Michael and chef Marcello Guzzo cut into the giant JANUS cake made to officially open the new venue.

Guests enjoyed treats from the 5-meter long JANUS Antipasto table, featuring an array of Italian cheeses and freshly cut cured meats plus chef’s arancini balls, calamari, mini burgers and famous Pork Belly and beef Picanha. Guests enjoyed a sugar fix in the new JANUS bakery and café adorned with their signature cakes, pastries and macaroons.

(Above and below:) Brazilian dancers and drummers took to the stage and performed in front of the crowd.

JANUS signature cocktail’s served from 2 bars included the Caipirinha (made with sponsor Sagatiba), Elder Apple, Lychee Rose Martini’s and the Janus Jungle had everyone in the party mood plus Italian wines & Peroni beer plus Aqua Panna mineral waters to hydrate.
