Toga Hotels has announced the arrival of the Travelodge Hotels brand in Hobart. As of late March 2013, the Leisure Inn Hobart Macquarie will be known as Travelodge Hotel Hobart.
The 131 room hotel is newly refurbished and includes 24 hour reception, breakfast lounge, room service and complimentary parking.
Travelodge Hotel Hobart is centrally located with the dining and shopping spots of Battery Point, Salamanca Place, Constitution Dock and the waterfront are just a stroll away. The hotel is also a great base from which to explore attractions such as: the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery and the ever intriguing Museum of Old and New Art. For corporate travellers, key businesses are located close by to the hotel as is the Royal Hobart Hospital.
“We are delighted to announce the acquisition of a new hotel in Hobart, to be known as Travelodge Hotel Hobart,” said Allan Vidor, managing director of Toga Group. “The Tasmanian location of the 17th Travelodge Hotel marks an important milestone for Toga Hotels, now proudly operating hotels and apartment hotels in each state and territory of Australia. Toga Hotels is thrilled to be working in partnership with the Zonie Group on this new hotel acquisition.”
