Far East showcases Singapore in Sydney

Sydney shimmered with Singapore flavour and flare at the first official Australian event for Far East Hospitality. On Thursday October 11 over 100 tourism industry delegates and media were treated to an evening of Singapore hospitality at Simmer on the Bay in Sydney’s Rocks area.

At its first foray into the Australian market, guests were wowed by Jin Wu Koon Lion Dancers and treated to traditional Singaporean dishes such as Laksa, Chilli Crab, Roti Prata and Hainanese Chicken Rice which were washed down by local drinks including Yeo’s drinks and Tiger Beer.
Singapore continues to remain a favourite destination for Australian travellers as Far East Hospitality sees a steady increase of Australian visitors to its properties over the past 12 months.

Far East Hospitality, Singapore’s largest and fastest-growing operator of hotels and serviced residences, has found that Australian tourists continue to choose Singapore as its destination of choice due to easy accessible economical flight options, favorable exchange rates, and a plethora of activities from great shopping, cultural experiences and diverse food options.
