The Morrison in Sydney was transformed into a peculiar old-school bar on Sunday (23 Sept) for the national final for the Hendrick’s Hot Gin Punch Tournament where 11 of the country’s best bartenders rolled into the venue to showcase their creative and delicious Hot Gin Punch recipes. 

The event, hosted by Hendrick’s Gin saw 11 of the country’s best bartenders serve up their best Hot Gin Punch recipes.

Dominique Caicioli from Melbourne’s Dining Haul taking home the crown for her tasty concoction entitled Punch Drunk Love, which she eloquently served with accompanying short bread and cream.

Coming in a close second was the Roosevelt’s Phil Gandevia for his beetroot inspired Hare & Hound Punch. Both Dominique and Phil have won the opportunity to travel to the Hendrick’s Distillery in Scotland for their winning punches.

A flurry of industry guests turned out to The Morrison on a sunny Sunday afternoon in Sydney, to taste the curious selection of cocktail punches and cast their votes for whose they liked the best.

Geoff Bull and the Finer Cuts provided the live tunes for the day, with crowd enjoying the classic jazz music.
