The event, lasting a week and full of a variety of activities, saw some 60 VIPs celebrating day and night. All had gathered on Hayman to honour the outstanding success of Shelley Barrett, founder and CEO of ModelCo.
The visit provided Hayman the opportunity to showcase the unique attributes of Hayman’s landscape, vast array of island activities and adventures which abound in the Great Barrier Reef neighbourhood.
ModelCo ambassador Danii Minogue made a special appearance at an exclusive event held recently at Hayman.
For the festivities, ModelCo painted Hayman ‘pink’ for everyone to enjoy.
A beauty-inspired dining experience in the surrounds of the Hayman rainforest gardens featured sparkling lights and a long table glowing neon pink as guests feasted on seafood, Hayman’s signature Igloo dish and other beautifully presented courses, included a special selection of ModelCo Lip Gloss filled with a delicious jam and a magnificent sauce in a ModelCo Spray Highlighter, the creation of Hayman Executive Chef, Glenn Bacon and his award-winning culinary team.
The following evening was all about major partying on the beachfront as guests rocked to the music coming from guest DJ, Jonny Powell and former Sneaky Sound System MC, Daimon Downey, as Moet & Chandon continued to flow well into the night.
ModelCo ambassadors, Dannii Minogue, top Australian model, Cheyenne Tozzi and champion surfer, Sally Fitzgibbons posed for ModelCo campaign shots and magazine shoots with Hayman’s beaches, pools, lagoons and gardens providing a magnificent backdrop.
“I am thrilled to have celebrated ModelCo’s 10th Birthday milestone in the beautiful surrounds of the iconic Hayman,” said Shelley Barrett.
“It was great for us to welcome everyone associated with this major event for ModelCo to Hayman,” said Hayman general manager, Shane Green.
“We were excited to showcase one of the most prominent brands in the world of beauty and highlight all that Shelley has accomplished.”
“We look forward to hosting and celebrating more Australian success stories on the island and remain committed to delivering Australia’s most sought after resort and social experiences to our guests.”
