Taking to festivals and events accross Australia, Royal Wolf  has seen a surge in using multi-purpose shipping containers at a huge variety of events.

Their extensive range of multi-purpose shipping containers have been regularly providing the events industry with a range of services including sound barriers, crowd control barriers, refrigeration, general storage, accommodation and hazardous goods storage requirements.

Royal Wolf has contributed to the recent success of Australia’s most popular music festivals such as Big Day Out, Stereosonic, Field Day and Soundwave, where Royal Wolf’s ability to deliver to site and install in a short timeframe has proven to be a significant asset.

Working within the confines of suburban areas, event organisers often turn to Royal Wolf to provide containerised sound barriers with designated access points, stacked up to 40-feet high, in order to create an event which satisfies customers whilst providing the minimum amount of noise disruption to the surrounding area. The containers also have the ability to be stacked in a wide variety of formations allowing a tailor-made solution for music festivals and other highly populated events seeking crowd control.

Refrigerated containers also provide an essential service for many key Australian exhibitions involving food and drinks such as the Good Food and Wine Expo. The sheer quantity of refrigerated products and storage required for these large-scale events meant that organisers had to rely on Royal Wolf’s ability to respond quickly to the major demands at such events.

“Royal Wolf is consistently called upon to provide a wide range of solutions for Australia’s biggest events,” said  executive general manager of sales and marketing, Alan McLaughlin.

National sporting events such as the V8 Supercars, Summernats, The Melbourne Cup and Oaks Day, have also recognised the value of using them to assist in the smooth operation of their events. Hazardous goods containers used to store flammable materials such as petrol are provided to many of these key sporting events by Royal Wolf.

With the Melbourne Cup Carnival being one of the biggest events on the Australian calendar, event organisers recently used a number of containers including refrigeration units to handle catering and drinks service, as well as temporary office sites for officials and suppliers.
