Brisbane’s newest event and convention space will be unveiled at AIME in Melbourne on Wednesday February 22.

 

The  $59 million convention and exhibition centre in Brisbane is part of stage one of the historic $2.9 billion 15 year RNA Showgrounds Regeneration Project, one of Brisbane’s most signigficant urban renewal projects in Brisbane since Southbank. 

It will transform the 22 hectare site into a destination synonymous with events, fashion, design, lifestyle and culture, hosting world-class festivals, exhibitions, conferences and shows all year round. The new convention centre sits pride of place on the iconic RNA Showgrounds site, just 1.6kms from the CBD and is due to open in March 2013.
