Upholding the Novotel brand’s fundamental values of modernity, good design, simplicity and efficiency, the refurbishment has resulted in a fresh, contemporary new hotel to mark a new era for one of Brisbane’s most popular city hotels.

The rejuvenation has seen the introduction of a new top floor prestige room type, refurbishment of all 296 guest rooms, the Lobby & Bar and a complete makeover of the hotel’s restaurant.

Novotel Brisbane’s new Premier Room, a sophisticated and modern hotel room situated on the fourteenth floor, delivers on this promise and offers guests the ultimate in inner-city accommodation.

Boasting superior features to make the modern day guest feel at home, the Premier Room is superbly fitted with a state-of-the-art Nespresso Coffee Machine, iPod docking station, 32 inch LCD TV and offers spectacular floor-to-ceiling glass walls that open onto a private balcony with Brisbane City views.

The details are not lost for business travellers either; all Premier Rooms possess unique executive features including free internet, local telephone calls and ample desk space. For all guests, overnight accommodation in a Premier Room includes bottled mineral water, and a complimentary bathrobe and slippers for a true sense of comfort.

The emphasis of the bar and lobby is on simplicity with white the predominant colour using white reconstructed stone, glass, hula lights, tiles and custom designed carpets and furniture to create a cool, crisp mood. The bar offers both indoor alcoves and outdoor terrace seating and now offers a selection of share plates, light meals, cocktails and wide range of Australian and imported wines and beer.

Upgrades to the restaurant which has a capacity for 120 guests include a new buffet breakfast area. The restaurant has morphed from formal to unpretentious and warm and the menu offers guests a range of options which incorporates fresh and healthy produce and an extensive wine list that perfectly matches the menu.

The menu has improved on previous price points and there is a healthy selection of vegetarian, gluten free and low GI options to choose from. Guests can even choose organic options for breakfast from the restaurants new breakfast buffet.

The hotel is within walking distance of the CBD and some of Brisbane’s best shopping malls and arcades and features a state-of-the-art iMac station for guests and extensive business and meeting facilities.
