Outdoor staging supplier ESS calls Australia home

Australia's leading provider of premium outdoor staging solutions, ESG Australia, is now 100 per cent Australian owned and operated, trading under its original name Edwin Shirley Staging Australia PTY Ltd (ESS Australia).

Australia’s leading provider of premium outdoor staging solutions, ESG Australia, is now 100% Australian owned and operated, trading under its original name Edwin Shirley Staging Australia PTY Ltd (ESS Australia).

Current managing director Iain Barclay is the sole shareholder and has assumed all operating responsibility for ESS Australia.

ESS provided outdoor staging for the recent ‘Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventure’ show at the Sydney Opera House.

Australian-owned ESS will continue to supply premium products and quality event projects, also maintaining a specialist supplier network with The Mojo Barriers. All staff remain with the company and ESS will operate from its Sydney and Melbourne headquarters, servicing festivals, concerts and major events at multiple venues around Australia.

“The formation of ESS means we are now in a position to focus our 100% efforts on our core business of supplying staging to the domestic market. As part of our commitment to quality, we will invest in new systems and continuously upgrade our stock levels to ensure we have the capacity to service all customer requirements,” said Barclay.

With over 12 years experience, ESS has produced outstanding results for recent major events including Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventure shows at the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Festival and international touring artists like Guns & Roses and The Muse.

The ESS team is currently busy preparing for other major projects including the Good Vibrations National Tour, the Soundwave National Tour, and concerts for Sting and Michael Buble.

One of the company’s first initiatives will be the launch of a mobile warehouse concept, based in all major cities, which will allow even greater flexibility and faster delivery times to clients by storing staging product in sea containers.

“Safety, quality and high standards are at the forefront of everything we do. From our unique 3D CAD designs which enable us to thoroughly test build every stage, to our staff who are uncompromising when it comes to rigorous set-up and delivery, it is my intention that ESS will continue to set the benchmarks for our industry,” said Barclay.
