Staging Connections announces 3 year partnership with Racing Victoria

Staging Connections has announced a 3 year exclusive agreement with Racing Victoria Limited (RVL) for delivery of event staging services for all of RVL's events.


Staging Connections has announced a 3 year exclusive agreement with Racing Victoria Limited (RVL) for delivery of event staging services for all of RVL’s events.

“Staging Connections is delighted to announce the partnership with Racing Victoria Limited in 2010, the year that celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Melbourne Cup,” said Staging Connections managing director Tony Chamberlain.

“This year marks the beginning of a milestone partnership for Staging Connections and RVL. Our team is very excited about working with and delivering innovative world class event staging services to RVL and the patrons of the wider racing community,” he said.

RVL is responsible for hosting events such as the Spring Racing Carnival Launch, the Victorian Thoroughbred Racing Awards and the Australian Racehorse of the Year and Hall of Fame Awards.

According to Staging Connections’ regional general manager and general manager of its’ Melbourne operations, Haig Walker, Staging Connections will sponsor key RVL awards as part of this agreement.

“Staging Connections will sponsor the Victorian Racehorse of the Year Award at the Victorian Thoroughbred Racing Awards on Sunday 8 August. Staging Connections will also sponsor the Hall of Fame Legend Award at the Australian Racehorse of The Year and Hall of Fame Awards on Sunday 5 September with other joint sponsors, Sky Racing World and Tabcorp. Both events will be held at Crown where Staging Connections is the exclusive inhouse venue services partner across all of its properties,” Walker said.
