Emirates’ uber-luxurious Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa in the Blue Mountains has joined the Leading Hotels of the World (LHW).

New LHW member: Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa

The move is a big win for LHW in Australia and the property has become the fifth member in Australia, alongside Blue Sydney, Hayman Island, The Langham Hotel Melbourne and Palazzo Versace

With sister property Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa in Dubai already a member, Emirates Hotels and Resorts now has both its properties included in the luxury hospitality portfolio.

Emirates Hotels and Resorts’ senior vice president – resorts and projects, Tony Williams, said: “This is great news for Emirates Hotels and Resorts, and for the Australian travel industry.

“We believe that the opening of our Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa is significantly boosting the luxury travel sector in Australia, and we are delighted that Leading Hotels of the World has recognised our contribution.

“As the sector grows, Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa will continue to partner with other Australian resorts of similar calibre in order to add further value to the international traveller experience,” Williams said.

LHW vice president – Asia Pacific, Philip Ho, added: “The hotels within The Leading Hotels of the World collection cater to the discriminating traveller, where first-class service is the norm rather than the exception.

“For Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa to be accepted as a new member demonstrates the resort’s true commitment to quality, consistency and personalised service,” he said.
