The Taste Collective — a member’s only list of Sydney’s reputable restaurants, private dining rooms and event spaces — launched its first event at Spanish restaurant Subsolo last week.

The Taste Collective founder Alex Robertson-Jervis said she launched the service with her husband to provide event planners and executive PAs with a resource that could supply them with all the information they needed on particular venues without having to visit them.
“[It is] designed for busy people who need to be in the know but don’t always have the time to be,” she said, adding that while event organisers are their backbone, membership is not exclusive. She said she has received requests from film agencies and everyday people looking for a private party venue.
The Taste Collective will also host bi-monthly showcases for members to experience particular venues.
