Spicers Private Walks Launch for Groups

Hidden Peaks Walks has joined forces with luxury retreat Peppers Spicers Peak Lodge on Queensland's Scenic Rim to launch its first adventure

Hidden Peaks Walks has joined forces with luxury retreat Peppers Spicers Peak Lodge on Queensland’s Scenic Rim to launch its first adventure – Spicers Private Walk – from May 1 2009.

Groups seeking adventure can satisfy their taste for gourmet indulgence and the great outdoors when Australia’s newest guided walks company steps out with its first offering on Queensland’s stunning Scenic Rim.

Fresh air and spectacular views on offer for adventurous groups.

The company is dedicated to providing a world-class leisure experience allowing guests to connect with the natural wonders of South East Queensland whilst indulging in award-winning accommodation, food and wine.

Fashioned in the tradition of the great NZ and Tasmanian walks, the fully-hosted three or four-day experience traverses the scenic trails of one of South East Queensland’s largest private nature refuges and ventures into the pristine environment of the Main Range National Park World Heritage areas.

Evenings of peace and isolation are spent in a well-appointed, purpose-built kitchen/dining room where guests will enjoy the comfort of hot showers and prepared meals.

Sleeping accommodation is in well appointed safari-style tents out under the stars and the walk culminates with luxurious overnight accommodation and the gastronomic pleasures of the multi award winning Peppers Spicers Peak Lodge.

The package includes two or three days of guided walks; guide books and track maps; one or two nights accommodation in well-appointed tents and one night in a five-star Lodge Suite at Peppers Spicers Peak Lodge; all meals and drinks including breakfast each day and a degustation dinner on day three; use of personal light backpack and wet weather coat; pick up and return by private coach from Brisbane and portage of personal items and luggage whilst on the walk.

As hands-on operators, David and Graham will share their expertise and secrets of the bush, guiding like-minded nature lovers in small groups through the graded paths of World Heritage wilderness and private refuges.
