Orient Express CEO Tom Manwaring said Power’s role includes developing new business relationships and revenue from potential partners, travel industry agencies requiring state and or natinal sales representation, as well as the MICE business.
“Our continuing business development strategy has given us the national footprint and infrastructure to step into these important sales fields,” he said.
Power is an experienced Australian travel industry professional of 30 years standing who has specialised in sales and business development across many travel industry sectors. More recently, he has held the sales accounts of the Singapore Tourism Board and Tourism Malaysia.
Manwaring said he brought to Orient Express excellent industry business relationships with the major airlines, wholesalers and retailers in Australia, and in particular the outbound Australian MICE sector.
