Starwood Hotels & Resorts has launched a range of innovative meeting tools that increase the efficiency of planning for meetings from now onwards.  The tools include the first meetings widget in the industry and an interactive map that is now available here.

“We have developed these tools based on feedback we have received from our customers,” said Starwood vice-president of sale – Asia-Pacific, Alison Taylor

“In this digital age, when there is information overload from different sources, we know our meeting planners spend time searching for the best deals and sieve through pages of information to look for simple but important facts. Designed to cater to our meeting planners’ needs, the MICE widget and interactive map provide these key information at one glance.”

It’s not easy being green: Starwood’s thumbdrive for
planners contains the world’s first MICE widget

MICE Widget – This first of its kind meetings tool in the industry sits on the desktop of meeting planners, and enables them to receive hot-off-the press regional MICE offers as well as direct access to information on hotel availability and special offers, contact details and so on.  The widget can be downloaded from www.starwoodmeetings.com/widget.

Interactive Map and Directory – designed to allow meeting planners to search for locations of Starwood properties at one glance. With just a click or two, meeting planners can view Starwood properties’ listing in a city, including key facts such as number of rooms and meeting rooms, size of largest meeting room and maximum room block, all essential information that meeting planners need to know when planning meetings. A pocketsize hotel directory with similar information is also available for meeting planners so that they can check information while they are on offline.   The interactive map is available on www.starwoodmeetings.com/micemap.
