A bespoke provider of high-end bathroom services has reported phenomenal growth since launching in Sydney in 2003 and is now marketing its services in New Zealand.

Oh De Toilette founder Helen Davis said she decided to expand across the Tasman after seeing annual growth of 30 to 40 per cent for the company’s services in Australia’s east coast.

“When I started the business five years ago no one was doing it, and we are still pretty much without direct competitors,” she said. “We’ve set a standard that is now expected.”

Oh De Toilette has opened shop in New Zealand

Oh De Toilette provides decorations, accessories and attendants for powder rooms and washrooms at events, venues, dinner parties and conferences. The service is targeted at the premium end of the market and was used for Nicole Kidman’s wedding in 2006 and at last year’s Australian-Pacific Economic Forum (APEC), among other noteworthy events.

“The service we provide is for events for when you want to make sure every aspect of the event is perfect, right down to the loo,” Jarvis said. “We come in, set it up, station our attendants and pick it all up at the end of the event.”

Oh De Toilette also offers a selection of pampering services, including hairstylists, make-up artists and masseuses.
