Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) is strengthened its marketing presence in Australia with the appointment of a new business development manager, Heidi Heming.
Heming, who has an extensive travel and tourism background including roles with Tourism New Zealand, Carlson Wagonlit Travel and CDL Hospitality Management Services, will work alongside Sharon Auld in the CINZ Sydney office.
Her corporate meetings market brief is to bring shorter lead times business into New Zealand.
Alan Trotter, CINZ CEO said increased financial support from Tourism New Zealand had made the new job possible.
“It is an initiative that is the direct result of our new CINZ industry strategy, which has resulted in a strengthened relationship between the industry represented by CINZ and other government departments including TNZ and the New Zealand Ministry of Tourism,” he said.
