This old industrial warehouse has been converted into one of Brunswick’s favourite event spaces.

Emilio Rogliano co-owner of Lux Foundry said, “Lux was originally operated by Sir Robert Gibson as a foundry making cast iron stoves. In the 50’s it then became Craig and Seeley who continued making ovens and later changed to what most people now know as the Chef oven brand. Howard Seeley is still alive and visits the cafe each year with other former workers from Chef.”

The heritage of the building is just one element that makes it so special.

For those seeking a venue with a bit of a difference for a private event such as engagement parties, anniversaries, milestone birthdays and more, Lux Foundry can be privately hired from 5:30pm until 11pm for groups of up to 90 guests for cocktail style functions.

“It’s a unique and expansive space that includes the exclusive use of our huge outdoor courtyard. The food we serve for events can often be found on our menu so the quality and quantity of food is excellent. Guests also have the entire space exclusively for an evening,” said Rogliano.

Lux Foundry is located at 21 Hope St, Brunswick Vic.
