Entries are now open for the 2012 Australian Event Awards. Enter now to join the ranks of the best events and the brightest achievements at the industry Night of Nights in September.
Join the Ranks of the Best - Santos Tour Down Under 2011 Australian Event of the Year
The eleven Best Event Categories for the 4th Australian Event Awards hold something for every event from Best Sporting Event to Best Community Event, Best Regional Event and Best Corporate Event.
Past finalists include the 2011 Australian Tennis Open, the Ford Ranger Global Launch Event by Imagination, the 2011 Santos Tour Downunder and Tropfest 2011.
Event professionals are not left out with nine Achievement Awards including Best Technical Achievement or Innovation, Best Achievement in Design, Best Catering, Best Export and Best Venue.
If you're a great operator who has done amazing work in the past year, you could join the ranks of 2011 finalists Adelaide Festival Centre, Blanco Food and Events or 2Fish Brand Experience Creators.
The five headline awards celebrate the year's highest achievements as we crown the Event Manager of the Year, the Young Achiever of the Year, the Entertainer of the Year, present the Lifetime Achievement Award, and finally announce the Australian Event of the Year 2012.
Watch the likes of 2011 finalists Darren Percival, Soul Mystique, The Leading Men and Brad Blaze battle it out live and this year even have your say with an audience-vote for the winner.
Entries close on July 23rd 2012. Finalists will be announced on August 20th.
The 2012 Australian Event Awards is the national awards program to reward innovation, recognise excellence and unite the Australian Events Industry. Entries are open to any event staged between July 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012.
