Dan the Man launches cooking just for blokes

Known by his followers as Dan the Man, chef Dan Lewinsky is bringing something original to the Sydney food scene; affordable, custom designed cooking classes, and interactive catering services perfect for corporate and social events.
His personal recipe is simple - uncomplicated cooking that celebrates the flavour of seasonal produce. All you need to bring is yourself (and maybe a bottle of wine).
Chef 'Dan the Man' Lewinsky has launched cooking courses just for men.
Sydney-based Dan has been “obsessed” with food from age 7 when he started watching an excessive amount of celebrity chef cooking shows. Not all young men however share his technique and tastebuds. During the last year, Dan noticed a gap in the market for affordable guys cooking classes in a city of hungry men sharing his passion for food and eating. The success of his bespoke “guys cooking classes” won him regular customers and now his audience spans everyone from individuals to groups, teenagers to grandparents, singles to corporate teams.
“My philosophy is about enjoying simple food using the best natural ingredients that are in season,"he said "I want to show my boys that everyone can cook no matter what level they are. I want my classes to be engaging yet uncomplicated and for people to learn new techniques and get their hands dirty.”
Each class is designed for the individual. No lesson or course is too big or too small and Lewinsky works with each class to ensure every individual gets to practice their personal culinary skills. From sushi and pizza making from scratch, to the kitchen basics we’ve all been too scared to admit we need, to quick and tasty after work dinners to interactive catering for corporate offices, Dan’s repertoire is varied and full of innovation.
Classes run on Thursday nights from 6:30 – 9:30pm and cost $75 per person. Classes can be organised for guys, individuals, groups and corporate teams. Additionally, personal chef and dinner party catering is also available as is interactive corporate catering.
