VIDEO: WA Government targets international tourism investment

The Western Australian Government was out in force at the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin, Germany, last week, targeting investors for its new, eco-sensitive accommodation projects.
Speaking exclusively on camera to SPICENEWS at IHIF, the Western Australian Government’s Business Tourism and Investment Manager, Kylie Sterling, said the government had earmarked a number of regional sites as accommodation projects that have planning approvals already in place.
Sterling said she had meetings at IHIF with a number of potential operators and investors and the interest had been “extremely positive”.
The WA Government, the only Australian state or Territory represented at IHIF alongside Tourism Australia, was also using the global conference to target investors for Perth’s new waterfront development.
