Melbourne's RACV City Club to offer new event space and accommodation

An expansion of the facilities at Melbourne's RACV City Club will offer new function space and 24 additional accommodation rooms from June 2012.
RACV City Club currently has a 500 seat function room, 31 seat theatrette, six meeting rooms, three outdoor terraces, a business centre, and a variety of dining options including two private dining rooms, a Wine Cellar, Club Conservatory and the President's Room.
The Club Pavillion on level two is the newest event space available at RACV City Club.
In addition, the Club has almost completed a new conference and event space, Club Pavilion on level two. Club Pavilion will feature floor to ceiling glass walls, direct access to outdoor terraces, cutting-edge lighting and audio visual technology and a crystal chandelier suspended from the skylight. The function space will be both contemporary and flexible and cater for up to 140 guests with banquet-style dining.
The refurbishment of level 8 of the Club will see the addition of 24 accommodation rooms, adding to the existing 112 rooms currently available.
Residents on level 8 can enjoy complimentary all-day refreshments with canapés and drinks in the evening at the new Butler's Pantry or relax in the nearby Guest Lounge with the daily newspapers, magazines and a selection of books from the Club Library.
To unwind after a conference or indulge in some pampering, the One Spa offers a range of treatments for delegates or they can choose from the excellent gym and pool facilities.
