Carlson's Chairman Marilyn Carlson Nelson produced yet another inspirational speech last week (Feb 15), this time at the company’s 2012 Global Business Conference in Nassau, The Bahamas, and SPICENEWS was there to capture it exclusively.
Nelson has been named one of ‘The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women’ by Forbes Magazine, has served as the Chair of the National Women’s Business Council (an advisory board to the United States President and Congress) is a former Chair of the US Travel and Tourism Advisory Board.
Carlson is one of the largest privately held companies in the world and recently joined forces with the Rezidor Hotel Group (in which it owns 50.3%) to create the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, which has over 1300 hotels (open and in the pipeline) across 80 countries and employs over 80,000 people.
This week, the company’s 2012 Global Business Conference is being held in Nassau, The Bahamas.
