Park Hyatt Sydney offers a fresh view for events

As Park Hyatt Sydney closed its rooms, spa, restaurant, bars and event spaces for most of 2011 to undergo a complete redesign, the new look is ready to offer organisers so much more.
The newly designed hotel features five sophisticated meeting rooms, with the latest in audiovisual technology, flexible solutions for intimate gatherings or exclusive corporate and social events. This blended with renowned Park Hyatt service levels and contemporary cuisine, delivers one of Australia’s most unique event packages.
The Park Hyatt Sydney is expected to complete the redesign by late December this year.
The most dramatic of these new spaces is the hotel’s Guest House, located on the very edge of Sydney Harbour, offering unrivalled views of the Sydney Opera House. The Guest House’s exclusive presentation kitchen, coupled with a private outdoor terrace on Sydney’s harbour front, makes it both a spectacular location and versatile space for up to 70 guests.
The newly designed Gallery is a stylish venue accommodating up to 150 guests, and offers the flexibility of dividing into three intimate event spaces, or one large sophisticated space. Specially commissioned artwork by prominent Australian artists are on display, creating a gallery of individual pieces and providing a unique setting for the most discerning event. The Gallery’s harbourside tranquility delivers both city proximity and a sense of retreat, whilst glimpses of the iconic Sydney Opera House provide a visually inspiring welcome to guests of The Gallery.
The Study is an intimate space seating up to twelve guests in a boardroom style setting for private dining or corporate meetings.
Menus for events are designed by executive chef, Andrew McKee, whose authentic Australian-inspired cuisine complements the quintessentially Sydney surrounds.
The multi-million dollar redesign is due to be complete late December 2011, and brings a unique event space to the coveted location on the edge of Sydney Harbour.
