Spice takes over barber salon for special VIP event

About 60 industry VIPs were invited to experience an intimate event especially ‘for the boys’ when we at Spice Magazine rolled out the red carpet and took over Ziggy’s Barber Salon in Sydney’s Surry Hills for a night of networking.

The event, designed to say thank you saw Stedmans Hospitality staff dressed retro rock fashion offering plenty of drinks courtesy of Russian Standard Vodka and Peroni Nastro Azzurro. Guests were invited to check out the quirky venue, perfect for product launches and photo shoots while enjoying canapés provided rock N roll style courtesy of StarGrazers Catering.
Star Grazers Catering kept guests well fed at the event with a fantastic canape menu.
The event, managed by Cloud 9 Event Management, also saw entertainment provided by DJ Raffi as well as Punk Monk.
“The Spice team attend quite a lot of events and one thing we noticed is that while often times things like manicure and make-up bars are on hand to make the gals look great, too often the guys are overlooked. So we wanted to showcase a unique venue space where the guys can get pampered as well,” said Spice Magazine editor Gwen O’Toole.
Throughout the evening gentlemen attending the event were invited to look their very best with a haircut or have their ‘Movember Mo’ maintenanced.
Ziggy’s Barber Salon offers a range of services included traditional straight-edge razor shaves and shoe shines as well as an atypical event space.
The event, alowed for guys to look their dapper-best by getting a haircut or 'Mo' maintenanced for Movember.
