Sydney's Aqua Dining gets new look

[Thu 27/10/2011 12:56:27]

Arguably one of Sydney’s most scenic restaurants, Aqua Dining has undergone a smart renovation adding a modern, airy dining space to its reputation for fabulous food and iconic Harbour view.

From its unique vantage point at Milsons Point and located a stone’s throw from Sydney’s equally iconic Luna Park, Aqua Dining’s renovation has taken place under the direction of renowned architect Sidney Koh.

Arguably one of Sydney's most scenic restaurants, Aqua Dining has undergone a renovation.

“The idea for Aqua was to create a refined feel from the entrance point and have guests descend into a space which ignites their senses visually, before they have even had a chance to glance at a menu,” said Koh.

“We treated the glass envelope style space as an extension of the harbour, in a way that guests feel like they are dining ‘al fresco’ beside the harbour through the creation of a minimalist, uncluttered area,” he added.

The refurbishment of the space coincides with the launch of a new Italian influenced menu from Executive Chef Anthony Redondi.

The restaurant offers an ideal setting for private functions, VIP dining experiences, media events and private events for 90 seated to 130 cocktail style.

Owned by restaurateur Bill Drakopoulos, Aqua Dining is part of a wider group of restaurants which include ripples Milsons Point, ripples Sydney Wharf, ripples Whale Beach and ripples Chowder Bay.
