New meeting and incentive planners guide for Tasmania

[Wed 05/10/2011 02:13:25]

Hold an event underground at the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), conference right on Hobart’s beautiful waterfront at the newly renovated Princes Wharf Shed 1, enjoy dinner with the Commandant at World Heritage Listed Port Arthur, or hold a function on Tasmania’s stunning east coast at award winning Saffire Freycinet. Exceed your expectations with Business Events Tasmania’s new 2011/2012 Meeting and Incentive Planner’s Guide (MIPG).

Compiled for professional conference organisers and event planners, the new MIPG for Tasmania is a must have resource for anyone considering planning a conference or event in Australia’s island state.

The 2011/2012 MIPG features new venues and there is also a new attractions, activities and tours section which highlights some great ideas for pre and post touring in Tasmania. Maps of each region of Tasmania have also been included as a reference tool and there is an invitation from the patron of Business Events Tasmania’s Catalyst Program, Charles Wooley.

The MIPG was designed to inspire conference organisers and event planners with a comprehensive overview of Tasmania as a business events destination said Stuart Nettlefold, CEO, Business Events Tasmania

Sections covered in the 2011/2012 edition include: accommodation and venues in each of the five regions of Tasmania; professional products and services; attractions, activities and tours; and resources (delegate boosting, pre and post touring etc),” he said.

“We are also looking to grow the corporate and incentive market and the new MIPG is an excellent reference tool to look at product that fits that sector.”
