[Tue 22/03/2011 11:54:35]

Legendary rock photographer Bob King was the guest curator for the launch of ‘Jim Beam Rockography’, a live music photography exhibition that was held last Thursday (17 March) at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory.

The exhibition showcased the best of photographic works taken at festivals and venues throughout 2010 by up and coming talent.

The shots were chosen from over 3000 submissions to Jim Beam’s music website ‘The Label Behind Live Music’.

Guests included Didier Cohen and girlfriend Kendal Schuler as well as Ali Mutch, Reigan Derry, Bob King and a caliber of music industry folk. Revelers enjoyed delicious food by Miss Chu washed down by smooth Jim Beam.

Rock and photography enthusiasts mingled to the awesome tracks being spun by special guest DJ Brad Heald, guitarist for The Vines.

The exhibition will be in place for 6 weeks to give Oxford Arts Factory patrons the chance to enjoy the photographs and the wall mural done by talented illustrator Ken Taylor.
