Quest opens new NT property in Parap

Quest Serviced Apartments will open a new property in Parap, Northern Territory on Monday 21 March 2011, adding more accomodation options for Darwin.
The Quest Parap serviced apartment property will employ approximately 18 locals and is expected to contribute around $4 million to the local economy.
The new $20 million Quest Parap property offers flexible, comfortable and spacious serviced apartment accommodation for business and leisure travellers visiting Darwin.
“We’ve previously lived and worked in Darwin, and it’s wonderful to return to a place where everyone makes you feel so welcome and supports what you do. We hope to be a permanent feature of the Darwin area and to give back to the community that has given us so much,” said franchisee Tricia Hartshorn.
The anticipated 4.5 star AAA Tourism rated property is located at 49 Parap Road, Parap. It is in close proximity to Darwin Yacht Club, Parap markets, Darwin RAAF Base and the Museum and Art Gallery of Northern Territory.
“Darwin has booming mining, tourism, government and energy industries and Parap is located just several kilometres from Darwin’s city centre," said Paul Constantinou, Chairman Quest Serviced Apartments. "This close proximity to business hubs and tourist attractions makes Parap an ideal location for business and leisure travellers.”
“Quest Parap will accommodate the increasing demand for business accommodation for both extended and short term stays, as well as growing numbers of people visiting the popular area,” says Constantinou.
The property offers a combination of 84 office suite, studio, one, two and three bedroom serviced apartments, as well as conference facilities which cater for up to 50 people.
The office suites are a new edition to the apartment types offered by Quest. They provide business travellers with the convenience of turning a studio apartment into a conference room catering for up to 10 people. The bed easily folds away into a cupboard creating a spacious area to conduct business meetings.
Each spacious apartment features kitchen and laundry facilities, a separate work desk, living and dining areas, Sanctuary Units and broadband internet access. In addition, the property offers on-site car parking, swimming pool, BBQ area, local restaurant chargeback arrangements and a pantry shopping service.
