Australian Business Events Expo launches new website

[Thu 24/02/2011 01:33:02]

With a refreshed look and feel, the Australian Business Events Expo 2011 launched their new website this week.

Following extensive research with delegates and exhibitors of previous years, the organisers of this major annual tradeshow for the business event industry, Exhibitions and Trade Fairs (ETF), have revamped the Expo beyond the new visual design.

The new-look website for the Australian Business Event Expo is now live.

“As the voice for the business events industry, the Expo needs to progress year-on-year and, most importantly, deliver on our customers’ requirements,” says the event's manager, Delwin Kriel.

“The launch of the new website is only the tip of the iceberg. Analysis from last year’s show gave us valuable insights for necessary improvements. As a result, we have put more emphasis on hosting events-in-action on the exhibition floor that will enhance the delegate’s experience and give further opportunity for showcasing exhibitor’s products and services.

“In addition, a range of convention and visitor bureaus will represent a larger cross-section of the Australia as a business event destination,” he adds.

“The entire online presence, including the LinkedIn profile, twitter account and facebook page, is to provide us with the tools to have an ongoing conversation with our customers, let them know what is new, provide helpful hints and listen to their comments," added ETF's CEO Jodie Richmond.

“The Expo doesn’t start and end with the event days, it has already commenced and its return on investment continues way past the last exhibition day,” says Richmond.

“The marketing and PR opportunities we offer to our exhibitors this year are extremely valuable and by taking advantage of these tools, they will be able to draw more serious visitors and ultimately enquires to their stand.”

Proudly co-located with Sydney’s Event Showcase: RSVP 2011, the Australian Business Events Expo will take place at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on 10-11 August 2011.

Spice Magazine and SpiceNews.com.au are both official media parterners of the Australian Business Events Expo and The Event Showcase: RSVP 2011, Melbourne and Sydney events.
