ISES Sydney membership surges as GFC eases

[Tue 01/02/2011 11:44:04]

The Sydney branch of the International Special Events Society (ISES) are experiencing a surge in membership as event companies take advantage of the benefits of networking with industry colleagues.

ISES aims to connect, educate and inspire event professionals working across corporate organisers, suppliers, education and government about the latest event trends, technologies and ideas.

Susan Twigden-Le Roux, vice-president of membership feels the easing of the GFC as well as the consistency in the quality of the ISES events has contributed in an increase in membership enquiries.

“Non-members can also still take advantage of the ISES 2011 membership drive which has been extended to the end of February. Companies can get six months membership for half the usual price. It’s a great way to become an integral part of the industry,” she said.

The next ISES connect event will be held on Tues, February 8 at the newly- restored Dunbar House in Watsons Bay, before it officially opens to the public.
The event, ISES Sydney Presents Oprah Mania will give guests the opportunity to hear from Tourism Australia and The Sydney Opera House about the mega-incentive which took the country by storm.

The next ISES Sydney event will take place on February the 9th when they present ISES Oprah Mania.

There’s still space available to attend this event. Click here for more information on registering to attend. Non-members of ISES are welcome to attend to come and experience the networking and presentations.
