Food Wine Sleep launches free iPhone app

Food Wine Sleep is pleased to announce the up-and-coming launch of the free FWS Guide iPhone app in September 2010- the first national iPhone App that allows consumers to search for restaurants, bars and hotels around Australia.
Complete with over 4,000 restaurants, bars and hotels, descriptions, features and facilities, opening hours, glossy photos, customer and expert reviews, up-to-the-minute special offers, real-time reservations, GPS integration and more, the free FWS GUIDE iPhone App will complement the already popular and fast-growing website
The free iPhone application will be available in September.
“The free FWS GUIDE iPhone app will allow people to search 24/7, make reservations and submit customer reviews from the palm of their hand as well as connect and share with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. The app also features up-to-the-minute special offers for diners and travellers. We set out to create a clever App that was fun and easy to use, but had everything we all enjoy in life in one place. No other App in Australia offers this,” said FWS's managing director, Amy Merriman.
A notification list has been established to meet demand for the yet-to-be launched product, for consumers wanting to know the minute it becomes available in the Apple Store.
