New Head of Business Events for Queensland

Well known business events professional Sandra Passaro has commenced as Head of Business Events at Queensland Events.
Queensland Events CEO John O’Sullivan said Passaro’s extensive skills and experience in strategic planning, business development, training and partnership building made her an ideal candidate for the position.

“Sandra’s name is well respected in the Queensland tourism and business events industry, and I am confident she will be instrumental in positioning Queensland as a business events destination of choice,” O’Sullivan said.
The new role will see Passaro working with stakeholders including Tourism Queensland, the State’s Convention Centre Managers and Regional Convention Bureaus, administering a business events grants program and providing funding support for bids for major business events.
