Corporate Family Days can play at the AJC

Royal Randwick has added a sense of fun and value to families on race days and corporate family days with its new Children’s Playground and Picnic Lawn. Within the famous grounds of the racecourse, located near the Rose Garden Lawn and next to the members’ entrance of the main drive, the new precinct is a fun and safe attraction for the whole family.
The Australian Jockey Club has opened a children's playground at the venue, adding value for corpoate family days and race day events.
The enclosure with its relaxed family setting features soft rubber flooring and a shaded equine themed playground including outdoor favourites for toddlers through to young children such as swings, climbing equipment, interactive games, sand pit and more.
Twelve retired day stalls, aptly named after winning thoroughbreds have been converted to undercover timber picnic booths with seating for up to ten people. Nearby are restrooms including a parents’ room, shade of tall Moreton Bay fig trees, beautiful gardens and access to power for other forms of children’s entertainment such as jumping castles and dodgem cars.
The Children’s Playground, a new addition to the improved facilities and controlled environment of Royal Randwick is also suitable for private bookings with catering and corporate family day picnic packages to suit all ages.
