Travelodge Docklands Opens In Melbourne

Toga Hospitality’s new hotel on the block, Travelodge Docklands, has opened for business in Melbourne.

Travelodge Docklands is a multi-million dollar new-build hotel located in Melbourne’s Docklands precinct and has been over two years in the making.
The 290 room hotel opened yesterday for business with rooms for $99 and is the 16th hotel in the Travelodge portfolio and the 51st hotel for Toga Hospitality.
Designed to deliver exceptional value, this newly completed hotel boasts a refreshing style that offers comfortable modern furnishings with each room featuring a fresh look bathroom, climate control air conditioning, flat screen TV and radio, internet access, Foxtel and in-room movies.
“Travelodge Docklands is a dynamic new location to add to our Travelodge Hotel portfolio, offering a waterfront backdrop along with easy access to the city’s premier attractions,” said Toga Hospitality CEO Rachel Argaman.
“Toga Hospitality recognises the long term vision for the Docklands area and is excited to be part of this emerging precinct,” she said.
For conference and meetings, Travelodge Docklands is well situated and offers meeting room facilities and two conference rooms with capacity for up to 90 people.
The $99 opening special is available until April 11 2010, is subject to availability and excludes peak periods, including the Formula 1 Grand Prix from March 25-28, 2010, inclusive.
