Australia's A-List Convene For Cartier Launch

[Thu 21/01/2010 11:52:59]

International luxury brand Cartier hosted a hugely anticipated event for some of Australia’s famous faces at the end of 2009, the Cartier Trinity Collection Launch.

Cartier Bell Boys were on hand to great guests at the event.

The black tie event, organised by the Trish Nicol Agency and held at Sydney’s most prestigious waterfront home, Altona in Point Piper, saw the French jewellery house host almost 250 hand-selected guests to share in the celebrations, marking the world renowned jewellery collections contemporary re-design.

In true French glamour, guests arrived to valet parking and a ten-meter long red carpet aligning the Wunulla Road sidewalk. Once inside it was opulence at its finest. A string quartet welcomed guests in a formal reception area along with free flowing Perrier Jouet champagne whilst dramatic red lights and ferry-lit trees led a beautiful garden path down the homes majestic garden.

Guests arrived by red carpet to the exclusive venue Altona in Point Piper.

Prior to the formal speeches a jazz band played to patrons overlooking a charmingly brooding twilight harbour and Sydney skyline, truly a dalliance of experiences. The pool deck played host to popular Sydney DJ’s Little Bambalam with a red-lit pool and a gold floating ‘Cartier’ cut out. The ‘trinity’ of entertainment and natural evolution of the evening had guests marvelling at our beautiful harbour city.

Along with VIP Cartier guests, a few of the celebrity attendees included; Australian fashion design’s Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman, Harper’s Bazaar fashion editor Christine Centenera, Sass + Bide designers Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke, fashion designer Kirrily Johnston, VOGUE Editor in Chief Kirstie Clements, model and ‘it girl’ Lara Bingle, Channel 9 media personality Deborah Hutton, the Lifestyle channel’s Juliet Love, racing identity and media personality Kate Waterhouse, Australian cricketer Nathan Bracken, Channel 7 media matriarch Skye Leckie and many more.

Sass + Bide designers Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke were amongst attendees

With entertainment drifting well into the evening the launch celebrated one of the most famous rings in the world, both a source of inspiration to Cartier and a symbol. Trinity - all about you forever.
