Quest Chairman Named Entrepreneur Of The Year

[Tue 17/11/2009 04:28:12]

By Lizz Summerell

Quest Serviced Apartments Chairman, Paul Constantinou, has been honoured with a prestigious award recognising his successful contribution to the hospitality industry.

Honoured: Paul Constantinou

The Ernst & Young 2009 Australian Entrepreneur of the Year award was presented to Constantinou, recognising his creativity and innovation.

Constantinou opened the first Quest property over 20 years ago and the company now consists of more than 125 properties. Over this time, Quest has filled a niche in the market and provided effective service to consumers – offering unique variation in the crowded accommodation market.

The award recognises leadership and success as well as those who have encouraged activity within the industry from people with potential. Being the first award of its kind, it acknowledges its recipients not only regionally but through national and global programs in over 135 cities in 50 countries.

The reception of this award is a remarkable acknowledgment of not only himself, but the entire company – with whom collaboration and creative development helped secure this recognition.

In July of this year, Constantinou was also awarded the state Australian Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.

“It was a thrill to win the state award, but to receive the national gong is a credit to the entire Quest group,” Constantinou said.

Constantinou has been an integral part of what is now the largest apartment group of its kind in Australasia - being involved in the hospitality industry for an extensive amount of time. Ranging from Australia and New Zealand to Fiji, they are a successful and dynamic business developing with the demand in their market.
