Quest Potts Point has been announced as the winner of the City of Sydney Business Awards in the Deluxe and Boutique Accommodation category.

Deluxe and Boutique Accommodation was one of 24 categories honoured by the City of Sydney Business Awards, and was open to four- and five-star boutique properties.

Entrants were evaluated on: industry leadership; evidence of business success; planning and community participation; as well as evidence of environmental sustainability planning.

Quest Potts Point sales and marketing manager Alison Hosman was delighted by the result.

“We are extremely proud to win the Deluxe and Boutique Accommodation category at the coveted City of Sydney Business Awards,” she said. “This award recognises Quest Potts Point’s dedication to providing our guests with outstanding experiences.

Sydney lord mayor Clover Moore said all winners, finalists and businesses nominated are vital to the heartbeat of economic activity in Sydney.

“With more than 20,000 small and medium businesses in Sydney, the City’s Business Awards show our commitment to supporting them on their road to becoming successful and sustainable enterprises,” she said.

Quest Potts Point, formerly the Storrier Hotel, transformed its original art deco apartment block to create a series of visually stunning, interesting spaces and uniquely shaped suites.

“We made a conscious effort to ensure that no two serviced apartment suites are the same. Our studios and suites are warm shades of chocolate and muted caramel, punctuated with black and white fabrics,” Hosman said.

“The essentials for a comfortable stay are abundant and include LCD flat screen televisions, iPod docking stations, Queen-size Serene Sleep beds and kitchenette facilities throughout,” she said.
