VictorsFood Gets 'Hungry For The South Coast'

As part of the Sydney International Food Festival, VictorsFood is hosting a ‘Hungry For the South Coast Tour’ for both individuals and groups with a taste for local and fresh cuisine.

Hosted by chef and trainer Victor Pisapia and MasterChef finalist Michelle Darlington, the tour begins at 7.30am on Saturday October 31. Guests are picked up in Sydney and driven down the coast, via the stunning Sea Cliff Drive, by coach.

Guests will visit the iconic Berry Woodfired Sourdough Bakery where they can meet and greet chief baker before setting off to indulge in a variety of locally made olive oils, organic vegetables and a stop at the Treat Factory sampling the world’s finest callebaut chocolate.

Lunch will offer freshly shucked Sydney Rock Oysters with World Champion oyster shucker, Jim from Jim’s Wild Oysters and a tasty drop of local vino.

Guests will check into Bay of Plenty Lodges for a short break, napping, strolling and swimming in the Jervis Bay National Park before moving onto Gunyah restaurant at Paperbark Camp for delicious meal using season produce by celebrity chef John Evans (ex Three Weeds, Sydney).

After a well-deserved sleep-in on Sunday morning, guests head off to Cupitt’s Winery to learn about winemaking before being joined by a host of passionate South Coast foodies for a Slow Food ‘100 Mile’ lunch using only locally sourced ingredients.

Heading back to Sydney with one last stop at the Crooked River Winery guests can doze their way home in comfort.

The first Hungry for the South Coast Tour will take place on the weekend of 31st October – 1st November.
