Vibe Hotels Support StreetSmart Australia Homeless Campaign

Vibe Hotels is once more supporting StreetSmart Australia’s Hotels Helping the Homeless campaign in 2009.

During the months of August and September 2009 Vibe Hotels and StreetSmart are asking guests to add a $2 or more donation onto their accommodation bill, and money raised will fund emergency accommodation services throughout Australia to those that need support.
Since 2003 StreetSmart has been changing the lives of people experiencing homelessness through a restaurant campaign run in the six weeks prior to Christmas.
Supporters have raised over $830,000 to fund over 188 small community based organisations, providing emergency aid, accommodation, critical services and projects promoting social inclusion, empowerment and sustainable change to help people avoid or move out of homelessness.
“Vibe Hotels are proud to be supporting StreetSmart Australia’s Hotels Helping the Homeless campaign to raise vital funds,” said Toga Hospitality CEO Rachel Argaman.
“Helping out is easy – guests staying at any Vibe Hotel can add a $2 or more donation to their invoice for their stay. We look forward to helping StreetSmart attain their fundraising goals for 2009,” she said.
