Sheraton on the Park Named Best Function Venue in NSW

The Sheraton on the Park was named ‘Function Venue of the Year’ at the 2009 AHA NSW Awards for Excellence at Star City on Monday (May 4).
It is the third year the Sheraton on the Park has taken home the coveted award, with previous wins in 2006 and 2008. The property also took home a second award this week for ‘Front-of-House Employee of the Year’, awarded to duty manager Cameron Cundle.

“We are very proud to win these two awards, which recognise both our product and our people,” said the hotel’s general manager Sean Hunt.
“Winning the function venue award for the second year running further cements Sheraton on the Park as Sydney’s hotel of choice for MICE and is testament to the hard work and dedication that each of our associates bring to a meeting or event here in the hotel.

The Sheraton on the Park offers 16 function rooms, including the pillarless Grand Ballroom, the Castlereagh Room and a number of high tech boardrooms and outdoor terraces overlooking Hyde Park.
