Singapore Airlines Announces New Aircraft For Australian Routes

Coinciding with the airline’s 25th anniversary of flying between Singapore and Brisbane, Singapore Airlines is set to introduce brand new Airbus A330-330 aircraft between the two cities from late March.
B777s are being replaced on selected Australian routes
The Airbus A330 – the newest model in the Singapore Airlines fleet – will replace the existing Boeing 777 aircraft and will feature 285 seats in two classes, business and economy.
Following the introduction of the A330 to Brisbane on March 30, Perth and Adelaide will follow soon after, with both to feature the new aircraft on all flights by the end of June.
A brand new business class seat, designed specifically for regional and medium-haul flights, will also be unveiled when the first of 19 A330 aircraft is delivered to the airline in January.
The A330 business class cabin will consist of 30 seats, in a 2-2-2 configuration, while economy will feature 255 seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration. All seats will feature the new version of KrisWorld – Singapore Airlines’ award-winning in-flight entertainment system.
