The former chairwomen of Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) Queensland chapter has joined Radisson Resort Gold Coast as director of sales and marketing.
Former MEA Queensland chairwoman Suzie Jones is now at the Radisson Resort Gold Coast.
Suzie Jones has been chairwomen for MEA Queensland since 2005 and worked at the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove as associate director of sales since 2001.
Jones said she looks forward to encouraging more young people to enter and succeed in the hospitality industry during her tendon at Radisson.
“I enjoy having the opportunity to encourage young people to enter and succeed in the hospitality industry,” she said. “The Radisson’s impressive training record allows interaction with young recruits. I look forward to being involved in a variety of mentoring programs.”
Jones said she would continue her association with MEA as a member of the board and as a keynote speaker at its industry seminars.
“I been an MEA board member for three consecutive years; it’s a very active organisation and pertinent to industry development,” Jones said.
