Acting event director Elizabeth Sarian expressed her enthusiasm for the event.
“ICCA is one of the most prominent meetings organisations in the world and the Forum is important to the development of young industry members,” she said.
“This is a fast-track learning opportunity where you can hear from senior international practitioners in a small group environment. The ICCA Youth Forum is renowned for injecting passion for a career in the industry and for providing participants with an ideal opportunity to network with their peers and establish valuable industry contacts.”
The Forum program includes two days of presentations and discussions and will be held on February 15 and 16 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Participants will also attend the AIME Welcome Reception on and exhibition on February 17 and 18.
It is open to people under the age of 30 years currently working in the business events industry.
The forum is free of charge to employees of ICCA members.
Non-members must pay a nominal registration fee of $220.
The full program for the ICCA Youth Forum will be available on the AIME website in coming weeks.
